Project Puppy
Sat & Sun @ 09:25 GMT
'Project Puppy' goes behind the scenes at the 'Dogs Trust' - the largest dog welfare charity in the UK - to take a look at some of the 100,000 dogs abandoned in the UK every year. In each episode, meet gorgeous puppies and young dogs who are preparing to undergo demanding training in order to perform vital jobs in the community. Follow homeless puppies, Ralph and Disco, as they attempt to overcome their poor start in life by training to become hearing dogs for deaf people and meet cocker spaniel Dinky Brush who hopes to work for the charity 'Pets As Therapy' (PAT) - providing therapeutic visits to hospitals and a variety of other venues by trained animals.
